Whippet Up run weekly creative wellbeing sessions in community venues. Linked to agencies that refer people in they are also open to anyone who wants a ‘wellbeing boost’.
The sessions are based around art and creativity and link into our wider Arts and Heritage programme. Everyone receives a warm welcome and each session includes a healthy home cooked lunch.

ARTS AND HERITAGE
Whippet Up’s Arts and Heritage programme is designed and planned with the people we support. We work with our wellbeing groups to design and run other community and arts events and link people into other festivals and events.
Visit the events page to find out about Whippet Up’s Arts and Heritage programme; we are always working towards new events!
CHILDREN & FAMILIES
Whippet Up has used its asset-based approach to develop new creative ways of working with children and families. Through a year long programme it has developed new child led arts activities with under 5’s and has linked youth groups and families into its Arts and Heritage programme.

The Whippet Up toolkit helps us set up new Wellbeing groups and helps us plan new Arts and Heritage events. Community groups and community venues can work with Whippet Up and the Toolkit to set up creative wellbeing groups, establish new referral networks and get people working together the ‘Whippet Up way’.

Whippet Up likes a challenge! Other projects we have been involved in include work with the British Science Association that explored how science could link with art and wellbeing. We have also developed creative catering events and even provided a pop up performance piece for a wedding.
If you have an interesting challenge for Whippet Up we would love to hear from you! Get in touch via the contact form.
